skilled programmer?

Anything to do more with the site than with the Jarvis. Feature requests, announcements, praise, moaning, etc. :)

skilled programmer?

Postby jakey117 » May 4th, 2014, 5:34 am

Hey, i was watching some guy named Loudsoundmovies2 on youtube and his Jarvis system looks AMAZING!

If the developers of MVC and James Grice i think his last name is combined there efforts you could make the best system in the world.

Worth a try, asking him if he wants to be recruited i guess?

I feel like we talked to someone who knew him? Wonder if its in c# and he knows wpf. Maybe a good person to collab with.

Anyone know this fellow?

yeah, i remembered someone knows grice and she personally visit grice's place to see the progress of his own jarvis version. And grice use C ++ or C #, its hard to convert it to wpf, i'm impressed on his jarvis' search capabilities and alarm. so far he didn't release his version to the public.

Yea it took a bit of time to convert. I had to comment out a ton of jarvis to get it to run. Then we had to go through and uncomment stuff out and make sure it worked.

Loundsoundmovies2 and I exchanged a couple of PMs back and forth on YouTube a while back. He seems like a pretty cool guy and he even expressed interest in teaming up at one point. @a-treatGingerAle I could show you the messages and maybe you guys could talk to him about it. If you PM him with the YouTube channel, he'd probably respond. Even if he wanted to remain solo, he does have some interesting ideas.

Yeah I know Gricey :)

That was me who posted a while back, ill be seeing him sometime this week, Ill get him to sign up and post on this thread when i see him :)

I don't know if he will join as I have known him since primary school and he is more of a "lone wolf" when it comes to making stuff like this, and I kind of admire that in a way, Kinda like tony stark when he built mark 2 to mark 42, But never know! :) he just might!

Thank you!, Glad you have enjoyed it!, and i am quite impressed with what you guys are doing here, it is rare to see a group of people come together so professionally and create something like this, you should be proud :)

I also posted another topic in the forum as a inspiration to any developers creating projects like ours and of course to your team also!
I have a feeling you will agree with alot of the stuff i have said in there :)
