Can you verify that the web service works on your client?

Example:
http://localhost:54657/?action=[Speak("Testing.")]&key=ABC1234

Does following that link in your browser make Jarvis speak?

No it doesn't.
Only this one works:
http://127.0.0.1:54657/?action=[Speak("test")]&key=1234ABC&request=enable

@elKetharo

Can you switch the key in your user settings tab to ABC1234 please?

Let me know if that works.

If not, try what I suggested in this post.

P.S. I think you may have an older version of links btw. I seem to remember a version awhile back having the key set backwards. Either that or I assume you have been reading the Wiki, where some of the key settings are backwards and you changed yours to reflect the difference. I did the same thing lol.

Thanks :)

Thank you so much! First one didn't work - cmd said something like a parser error.
But changing the wiki2.0.py fixed the error message :)
Great work btw!

Hey all,

I updated the script. There's a config file there now. You can fill in your IP, Key and Port. If you leave them at None, Links will attempt to autofill them still.

So, download, unzip and replace any old Wikisearch files. Fill in what you need to in the settings.cfg file. Update your command to point at the new file, ie: wikisearch3.py. And good luck :)

Wikisearch.zip

Let me know how it goes.

Expect an update for this soon. I have found a better installation method that is entirely automatic. I am in the process of implementing this to all my scripts. Thanks for the patience.

Sincerely,
